Burson veteran Galbraith launches boldT

Former Burson-Marsteller EMEA CEO Jeremy Galbraith (pictured above) has co-founded a new agency, boldT. His fellow founders are Michiel van Hulten, formerly an MEP for the Dutch Labour Party, and Herbert Heitmann, an in-house comms veteran of SAP, Shell and others. The agency is initially based in Brussels and Cologne. Galbraith stepped down at Burson after 22 years with the WPP firm.

Lotus rides high with Efteling

Travel specialist agency Lotus has been appointed by Efteling Theme Park Resort. It is tasked with supporting the development of the Dutch destination's UK PR and social media presence. Located in the south of Holland, Efteling aims to become an international destination with five million visitors per year by 2020.

Fipra brings in Lexington and Angry Birds PR boss

UK agency Lexington Communications has joined the international network of Brussels-based public affairs specialist Fipra. Lexington was the agency that briefly employed Fiona Hill, before she left for a spell as co-chief of staff to Theresa May. Fipra itself has also appointed two new partners, including Kaisu Karvala, who previously led PR and comms for the Angry Birds brand.

JBP appointed by business think-tank

JBP has been appointed to provide media relations and public affairs support to the think-tank Big Innovation Centre, a business-led organisation founded in 2011, which runs the All Party Parliament Groups on both artificial intelligence and the fourth industrial revolution. Another JBP client is the UK Vaping Industry Association.

Higginson puts up a fight

Higginson PR has been appointed by boxing and fitness club 12x3 to raise awareness of the brand in London and beyond. The agency, set up earlier this year by a husband-and-wife team, also works with a free school, a management consultancy and an environmental campaign, among others.

Holiday Autos hires London Media

London Media has been appointed by car hire firm Holiday Autos to run its UK press office. The account was previously held by Hope&Glory.

Karol's b2b win

Print and packaging firm Elanders UK has appointed Newcastle's Karol Marketing for a PR programme specifically taregeting the drinks and cosmetics markets.
